Fish Behind the Fins…
Hi, I’m Laura, and I perform as Mermaid Allura.

Laura is a multi-passionate artist, working in fine visual arts, artisanal crafts, content creation, and performing as a mermaid to name a few. She has been "mermaiding" since a tween, and now creates a lot of her own mermaid costumes.
She proudly owns both a Finfolk Birth of Venus fabric tail and Mertailor Red Snapper tail.

Laura received her PADI Advanced Mermaid and PADI Basic Freediver certifications from Brandee Anthony's Mermaid Freedive retreat in July 2022. She is also PADI Open Water SCUBA certified.

Laura sometimes performs with the Gemstone Mermaids pod, a seasonal mermaid troupe that performs together at select events in the Southeast. Please indicate if you are interested in multiple mermaids at your event, and Laura will invite her fishy friends.
